I have failed 2012 and didn't have my monthly resolutions for March and April.
Let's just say that these 2 months my goals were to heal from surgery and to be good about going to physical therapy. (Such a breeze compared to not shopping.)
Well, here's the rundown of the past few months.
(starting with first ACL surgery in 2006 + shattered tibia)
Summer of 2011- Stacie starts running more
Summer of 2011- Stacie starts running less because she realizes it hurts her knee a lot
Winter of 2011- Stacie realizes she works at an orthopedic clinic and needs to take better advantageDecember of 2011- Stacie has a scope to figure out what is wrong with her (okay, just what's wrong with her knee. Funny.)
January of 2012- Stacie needs a new ACL
March of 2012- Stacie gets a new ACL! (Not sure if that was deserving of an exclammation, but you get it.)
Today of 2012- Stacie wonders why she is telling this story in the 3rd person but still keeps doing it
No joke, they used a cadaver ACL. I have a dead person in me. All I can do is hope that this dead person used to jump really high. And then I can be the skipping champion.
